Dog license month began in JUNE. All dogs six months or older residing in Connecticut MUST have a current license.

To celebrate Pride Month this June, join us at Northwest Park Pavilion for a talk by author Sarah Prager, an advocate for queer history education, especially for youth. Prager will be speaking about her books: Queer, There, and Everywhere: 23 People Who Changed the World, Rainbow Revolutionaries: 50 LGBTQ+ People Who Made History, and her forthcoming book Kind Like Marsha: Learning From LGBTQ+ Leaders.

The Town of Manchester and consultant, Town Planning and Urban Design Collaborative, invite the public to attend the Manchester Next PlanapaloozaTM events May 16-19. PlanapaloozaTM will be an opportunity for you to work directly
with friends, family, neighbors, Town staff and officials, and a team of talented planners to build a stronger future for the Town of Manchester.

ART OF PRIDE exhibit runs from May 6 – June 30. The show includes 54 paintings, photography, collage, fiber and multi-media work created by 23 artists from 18 cities in 3 states.

A dog-friendly city enhances the quality of life for both residents and their dogs. Our goal is to become a more dog-friendly city providing opportunities to spend time with your dog, enrich their lives through dog-friendly recreational activities, and promote responsible dog-ownership.

The community is invited to a special event on May 18th from 2:30-5:00 for Karell Velez a Manchester High School senior presenting his first solo show featuring his series of photographs.

This Spring, the Town of Manchester is debuting a newly redesigned website after a year-long effort in collaboration with OpenCities, a global GovTech company specializing in government websites. With a brand-new design, improved performance, and updated features, Manchester residents will be able to access and engage Town resources easier than ever before.
