Vibrant color explosions abound this time of year as the weather saturates the color all around before winter hibernates the color wheel for the season.

Rick Meier has been turning wood since 1998. The joy of turning comes from uncovering the natural beauty inside a piece of wood, enhancing that beauty by shaping the wood into a form pleasing to the eye.

It is that time of year, when the air is crisp ushering in a wave of brilliant splashes of color and bountiful harvests, it is time for SCARECROWS!

The summer season is coming to a close and will be sad to see the weekly visits to the various parks around town take a break and prepare for the Fall season.
