Nico Arias is a Recreation Supervisor with the Department of Leisure, Family and Recreation. He oversees management and execution of Better Manchester Magazine and Better Manchester Online as well as numerous other marketing and communication initiatives for the division and department. He enjoys hiking, camping and all things outdoors.

The Department of Leisure, Family and Recreation is partnering with CT Murals to support sponsored artist, Ben Keller’s vision for a Martin Luther King Jr. tribute mural, “Birthing of a Legacy.” The mural will be installed this weekend on the exterior wall of the Mahoney Recreation Center off Cedar Street in Manchester Connecticut.

During this 2-day virtual conference on Equity, attendees will benefit from and contribute to learning opportunities, thoughtful conversations and interactive activities related to areas of Equity from policy and politics, education and advocacy, art and commerce, health and habitat and more.
