Community Conversation – The Artist’s Voice

Artists featured in the Perspectives of a Pandemic show share their thoughts on the motivation behind their works, the process of creating their pieces, and what it is like to be an artist at this time. Artists are empowered by the desire to express, inspire and document, while grappling with the uncertainty and trauma of the times. The conversation is guided by Ryan Parker (Poet Laureate, Town of Manchester, CT) and Elizabeth Shapiro (Director of Arts, Preservation and Museums, DECD, CT.)

Bring your voice to this important conversation to discuss the therapeutic benefits of art, resources available to artists, and the future of CT arts. Find more information here.
