The Manchester Youth Commission’s Philanthropy Committee is requesting proposals for Mini Grants of up to $1,000 per application to Manchester community groups which are either led by, or intended to benefit, youth in Manchester.

This year, the Town of Manchester celebrated its Bicentennial, a recognition of Manchester’s founding 200 years ago, all the way back in 1823. For many, 2023 served as a year-long celebration of Manchester, as we “remembered the past, celebrated the present, and dreamed about the future.”

This September will see two large scale, free Town of Manchester community events: the Hispanic Heritage Day Celebration and Lights in the Sky – A Drone Show Event.

Cycling Without Age Manchester has begun training cyclists “pilots” on how to load and unload their passengers, how to use the battery on the hills, finding the most enjoyable routes, and highlighting landmarks along the way.

The Downtown Manchester Improvements Project (also referenced as the Downtown Streetscape Project or Downtown for All) is the next phase of the Town’s recent efforts to make Downtown and its adjacent neighborhoods more vibrant places.
