MVPP COVID Community Check-in Survey

The Manchester Vernon Prevention Partnership (MVPP) is a collaboration between the Vernon ROCKS Coalition and the Change Collaborative of Manchester that aims to expand substance abuse prevention efforts for young people in the towns of Vernon and Manchester. The MVPP is asking that you take a 5-minute survey to share your thoughts and experiences related to how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting your individual and family well-being.

Manchester 2020 Summer Day Camps Closed

On Tuesday, April 14th, the Manchester Board of Directors made the decision to cancel Town Operated Summer Camps for the 2020 summer season, this also includes Camp Kennedy our adult specialized program which runs for one week. This decision was made based on the current global pandemic this is one of many cancellations made by the Town in order to keep the community and its residents safe.

After several weeks of consultation with local and state authorities, the Cruisin’ on Main Street Planning Committee has made the difficult decision to postpone “Cruisin’ on Main Street 2020” due to the ongoing pandemic. We are heartbroken; however, the health and safety of our audience, sponsors and vendors, car enthusiasts, first responders, staff and volunteers are of the utmost importance to us.
