On 1/2/22, the Town of Manchester’s Emergency Management team secured Manchester’s allotment of COVID test kits and N95 masks from the State of Connecticut. The Town will a hold drive thru self-test kit & mask distribution event on Tuesday, January 4 starting at 9:00 am at the former Parkade site.

General Manager Steve Stephanou and Fire Chief Daniel French today announced the selection of Joshua Beaulieu as Assistant Fire Chief of Manchester Fire-Rescue-EMS (MFRE).
During the Board of Directors Special Meeting held on November 9th, 2021, a unanimous 9-0 vote was taken to select Steve Stephanou as the General Manager for the Town of Manchester, CT.
In response to a sustained improvement in COVID-19 transmission rates and decreased hospitalizations, Acting General Manager Steve Stephanou and Mayor Jay Moran announced that the Town of Manchester has ended the Town’s indoor mask mandate.
