James “Dutch” Fogarty Independence Day Celebration
Celebrate the Fourth of July holiday at the Town of Manchester’s annual James “Dutch” Fogarty Independence Day Celebration this Saturday, July 6th. Enjoy a slate of live music, food vendors, artisan market, a kid’s zone and – of course – a live fireworks display.
The 2024 James “Dutch” Fogarty Independence Day Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, July 6th from 4:00 PM – dusk at the CT State Community College (formerly Manchester Community College), 60 Bidwell Street, Manchester. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, July 7th. Cash donations are welcome.
Feature performances include live musical performances by the Silver Fox Stringband (4:45 PM – 6:45 PM) and Nightshift (7:00 PM – 9:15 PM), with the fireworks display to follow at dusk. Children & family activities include face painting, inflatables, Rec on the Run and more.
This year’s food vendor market (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM) includes:
