Cards for Active Duty Troops and Veterans
The end of the year is coming to an end with hopes for a New and Happy Year on the horizon. It is a time to be grateful for those who do what they do so that we may do what we do. Often times we take for granted the little things that make this time of year so very special. Cards and letters in the mailbox bring a bit of cheer to those who receive them and to those who send them.
It is not about how fancy, or how much something costs, it is about the time it takes to share a bit of kindness with a stranger. The gift of sharing goodwill and thankfulness in a simple note, letter, or card with those who do what they do so we can do what we do, costs nothing but is the little thing that may bring a bit of comfort to those serving far from home and won’t be home for the Holidays.
The Tiny Gallery @Northwest Park will be collecting notes, cards, and letters that will be sent to active duty troops and veterans. Stop by The Tiny Gallery @Northwest Park 448 Tolland Tpk Manchester, CT, and drop those cards in the Holiday Mailbox located outside of Building #2. Starting Dec 5th – Dec 17th.
Looking forward to filling the box and sharing a bit of Holiday Cheer with those who do what they do so that we can do what we do.
Thank you for taking the time to be a part of this community project!
