MLK Celebration
- Manchester YSB
The 36th Annual Martin Luther King Celebration will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from 6:00-7:30 pm in the MHS Bailey Auditorium. This program is to honor students and small groups who are promoting positive change in their school or community. The theme for this year’s celebration is inspired by the quote: “People fail to get along because they fear each other; they fear each other because they don’t know each other; they don’t know each other because they have not communicated with each other.” We plan to hold this year’s program in person; however, we are prepared to shift to a youth-led, virtual event if necessary depending on the status of Covid-19. For more information, please contact Kellie Gauvin at [email protected]. Please join us for this special evening to honor Dr. King and recognize the amazing contributions of youth in our community!
