Silk City Fest 2021

Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 2-10pm at Purnell Place in Downtown Manchester #silkcityfest

FREE ADMISSION! Organized by the non-profit ArtFüd, this family friendly, community event offers live music, a creative collection of artists/crafters/makers, local craft beer and cider, food vendors, interactive art, fun and games, make-n-take crafts and more! There will be plenty of free parking in the nearby lots, as well as on Main Street and various side streets. This fest goes on rain or shine. Live Music All Day: Performing on our main stage are Frank Viele, Hannah’s Field, Johnny Mainstream, Low Ceilings, MARMO, Podunk Throwbacks and Punchbowl Astronauts. Additionally, our second stage acts include Coleus, Lisa Lawrence, Thankful Soul Revival, and performers from Summit Studios.

Local Craft Beer & More: Enjoy libations from Labyrinth Brewing, 2nd Bridge Brewing, East Hartford Brewing Group, New England Cider, Phantom Brewing, Quiver Spirits and Urban Lodge Brewing.

Vendor Village: Explore our village of local artists/artisans/makers offering a great variety of creative goods including paintings, photographs, illustrations, ceramics, prints, woodcraft,
jewelry, fiber work, papercraft, candles, aromatherapy, skin care, home decor, and more.

Interactive Art: Be a part of the art by experiencing the illusion of animation in our Zoetrope Garden spotlighting the talent of CT artists.

Big Fun: Jenga, Connect Four, Cornhole await those up for some fun and games.
Foodie Fare: This year’s onsite nourishment is being provided by The Comfort Z one, Dukes’ Delish, Firestone Art Studio + Cafe, Keifer’s Kettle Korn, Manchester Cheesecake Co., Thomas’
Smokey Pit Stop and Villa of Lebanon. Still hungry? Even more fine fare can be found just a few steps away within the popular Main Street area restaurants.

Come out and enjoy all of this, and more, on August 28th! Bring the family, bring your friends, bring a chair…stay for a little, stay the whole day into evening.
