TED TALK Tuesday: Get Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable

During this monthly lunchtime networking event, we gather on Zoom to watch and then discuss an interesting video. Aligned with the Juneteenth Art Exhibit in our Main Street Gallery, we will experience Luvvie Ajayi Jones presentation on the power in learning to be uncomfortable. The writer, activist, and self-proclaimed professional troublemaker, says, “Your silence serves no one.” We’ll learn the three questions to ask when we’re teetering on the edge of speaking up or quieting down, and how to be a little more comfortable with being uncomfortable, and when to use our voice to disrupt and call attention to injustice.
