Holiday in the Park
Do you need to get away from your wrapping or decorating? Do you or your children need to get out of the house for a little while? Well the Department of Leisure, Family and Recreation is giving you the opportunity to do so. Join us for Holiday in the Park! This drive through event will be filled with music, some of your favorite characters, treats and a surprise gift.
This free event will take place at Northwest Park (448 Tolland Turnpike) from 9 – 11am on December 19, 2020. You’ll drive into the park where you’ll find staff directing you to the course. In order to be in accordance with CDC and Covid-19 protocols, we kindly ask that everyone stays in their vehicles, but feel free to take pictures and sing along to the music. There will be a few stops along the way where you’ll receive treats and a gift for the kid(s) that are present in the vehicle.

Greetings everyone! I was born and raised in Manchester and a graduate of Howell Cheney Tech. I’ve worked part time with the Department of Leisure, Family and Recreation for the last 17 years as a Aquatics Director and a Building Director.
