WHAT IS REC ON THE RUN?
Rec on the Run is the Town of Manchester Department of Leisure, Family and Recreations’ mobile pop-up creative arts, sports and games vehicle offering programs and activities to Manchester residents in neighborhoods and parks around our community.
Manchester residents with a valid recreation membership can call (860) 647-3084 to purchase a Rec On The Run Box for pick-up or delivery.
COVID-19 Considerations
We plan to offer all our activities in a “to-go” box formats. These boxes will allow easy activity pick-up onsite or for delivery. We ask that you refer to CDC and State guidance regarding social distancing and preventative measures to ensure your safety and the safety of our community when picking up on-site.
Rec on the Run staff will be required to wear proper PPE while on-site, while preparing the program materials, and while delivering boxes.

Delivery/Pick-Up
Delivery Service
A pilot delivery service will be made available to Manchester residents, twice weekly, with active recreation membership with the department. When making a selection over the phone please indicate if you’d like to pick-up your order or schedule a delivery. If selecting delivery, residents will be asked to select their delivery zone to determine their delivery day (Eastside Zone 1/Westside Zone 2).
Pick-Up Service
Let us know when ordering that you’d like to pick up your order. Pick-up site located at the rear door of 39 Lodge Drive, Manchester CT, Monday and Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 AM. Orders must be placed over the phone to pick-up onsite.
