Veteran Art of All Kinds Art Show

Veterans Art of All Kinds_CTA

The Galleries @ WORK_SPACE are showcasing the creative work of Veterans and their family members (ages 18+) in its Veterans Art of All Kinds exhibit which will be on display from Friday, August 21st thru Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 903 Main Street in Downtown Manchester, CT.

Online and in-person submissions of any and all art forms (including performance art) are being accepted through August 6th. Housed in WORK_SPACE, the Town of Manchester’s Coworking Space & Meeting Center, the Galleries are honored to showcase the talents and share the perspectives of New England based Veterans who have served and sacrificed for us all.  In addition, WORK_SPACE is offering online programs related to the healing power of art and is partnering with the Manchester Elks Lodge 1893 to pack 100 tote bags with a variety of art supplies to give to Veterans interested in exploring their own creativity and to experience the therapeutic benefits of art. Individuals and organizations interested in sponsoring a tote bag for a Veteran and Veterans interested in receiving art supplies can call or email for details.

Exhibit information and artist submission forms can be found here. We welcome first time exhibitors and are happy to help people who would like assistance getting their work show ready.

Due to social distancing measures, individuals and groups are invited to call the Galleries at 860-647-3168 or email [email protected] to set up a time to view the exhibit or arrange a tour. WORK_SPACE is a great place to host an education event for children and adults, our staff is available to facilitate a conversation with a Veteran artist and/or educator in-person or online.
