The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and infrastructure of the Town of Manchester. The Department is comprised of 5 divisions, including Building Inspection, Engineering, Facilities Management, Field Services and Sanitation.
Fun Fact #1: Each division contains sub-divisions including Cemetery, Parks, Highway, Fleet Maintenance and Building Maintenance.
Fun Fact #2: “Connecting the World Through Public Works” as the theme for the 2023 National Public Works Week
The Town will begin leaf collection on November 12th. Crews will begin in Area 1. Once Area 1 has been completed, crews will move into Area 2. Collection schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
