Spruce Street Community Garden Happenings
With springtime just a few months away, the Spruce Street Community Garden is ramping up towards the start of its 2025 outdoor growing season!
Since its formation in 2014, the Spruce Street Community Garden has grown to consist of 28 raised-garden beds, 12 single-and-double high community beds & an educational rotary garden. The garden hosts Manchester residents each year, ranging from first-time growers to lifelong gardeners, and offers growing opportunities on a yearly basis (from March to March of the following year).
The Spruce Street Community Garden’s Prospective Gardener Application (2025) will open on Wednesday, January 8th at 9:00 AM. Successful completion of this application will add you to the waiting list for the 2025 growing season & will ensure you are included on all preseason garden communications. Placement on the waiting list is first come, first served and open to Manchester residents only. Please click here to complete the application.
Please note that completion of the Prospective Gardener Application does not guarantee a garden bed for the 2025 growing season. Bed registration will officially open for those on the waiting list at the Garden Registration Event on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 7:30 at the Eastside Neighborhood Resource Center, 153 Spruce Street.
