Things That Make You Happy Art Exhibit
Join the Town of Manchester’s Neighborhoods & Families Division for the Things That Make You Happy Youth Art Exhibit on Friday, April 22 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Culture Lab at Mahoney Center, 110 Cedar Street.
Come enjoy creative works crafted by Manchester’s very own young artists, all centered on the theme of Things That Make You Happy. From paintings to sculptures, drawings to crafts, come experience some of the incredible works of Manchester’s K-8 students.
In addition, enjoy some free family activities, resources, and refreshments from Kona Ice, made possible through a partnership with the Manchester Early Learning Center.
The Things That Make You Happy Youth Art Exhibit is a partnership between the Town of Manchester’s Department of Leisure, Family and Recreation & Manchester Public Schools. The project was founded to increase art and cultural opportunities throughout Manchester.
This year’s featured schools include:
- Bennet Academy
- Bowers Elementary School
- Buckley Elementary School
- Highland Park Elementary School
- Illing Middle School
- Keeney Elementary School
- Verplanck Elementary School
The Things That Make You Happy gallery will have open viewing hours on weekdays starting Monday, April 25 from 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM. Please check-in at the front desk of the Leisure Labs at Mahoney Center upon arrival for gallery viewing.
