Manchester Next Community Kickoff Event
The Town of Manchester has kicked off a new project: “Manchester Next”. This effort is an update of the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD), led by the Town of Manchester and planning consultant Town Planning and Urban Design Collaborative, LLC (TPUDC). The public will have several opportunities to get engaged and participate in the process, starting with the virtual Community Kickoff Event on Monday, April 11th. Join us then to find out more about the goals of the Manchester Next project and to share your ideas for the future.
A Plan of Conservation and Development is a long-range policy document that establishes the vision and goals for how the Town wants to continue to grow over the next 10 years. The POCD will be used to help guide and improve livability, economics, mobility, recreation, employment, housing, and resilience throughout the Town. Through this process, the community will inform the vision and goals for the future. The Town hopes to hear from as many residents as possible. The goal is that this POCD will be a plan for everyone.
Taking into account concerns around COVID-19, the Kickoff event will be held virtually with two physical location alternatives for those who prefer to attend in person.
When: Monday April 11, 2022 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Where: Online. To attend via Zoom, please visit: https://manct.us/11 to register. Translation in Spanish and Bengali will be available through Zoom.
