Leisure Labs Open House
Join the Town of Manchester’s Department of Leisure, Family, and Recreation for a free Leisure Labs Open House on Thursday, December 2 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Leisure Labs at Mahoney Center, 110 Cedar Street.
With activities including interactive demonstrations, door prizes, an on-site food truck, and free childcare, there will be something for the entire family to enjoy.
For many, the Open House will be the first opportunity to view the recently revamped Leisure Labs. Housed at the Mahoney Center (adjacent to the former Washington Elementary School), the Mahoney Center houses three different programming floors, including:
- Rec Lab (1st Floor), which includes the gymnasium & game room.
- Leisure Labs (2nd Floor), which includes several programming spaces, including the Movement, Tech, Art & Music Labs and several flex spaces.
- Culture Lab (3rd Floor), which includes the Neighborhoods & Families Division’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and the Luminaries of Change Art Exhibit.
All in attendance will have the opportunity to register for programs demoed at the Open House day-of for a 25% discount. Please note that day-of registration will only be available for the eligible programs listed below:
- Art Projects
- Barre
- Boys Council
- Fencing
- HIIT Fitness
- Mad Science
- Nature Explorers
- Restorative Yoga
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Tournaments
- Youth Jazz Dance
- Zumba
