Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the due date for the July 2020 installment has been extended to Thursday, October 1, 2020

As of October 2nd, 2020, a 6% interest penalty applies to unpaid July bills. Interest cannot be waived.

Town Hall will remain closed until July 6th. After July 6th, only one person will be allowed in the tax office at a time, and social distancing protocols, plus the use of masks will be required.

Expect long lines and wait times if you choose to pay in person. You can contact the Tax Office
by calling 860-647-3018 or emailing [email protected].

Did you know you can PAY ONLINE?
Go to www.townofmanchester.org and select “$ Online Tax & Water Payments” in the bottom
center screen.

Starting JULY 1, 2020, Motor Vehicle taxes can be paid online with a credit card or E-check
without an additional convenience fee.

Convenience fees still apply to online payments of Real Estate and Personal Property, to avoid this fee, pay by check or money order. You can also use the envelope enclosed with the bill to mail or drop off your payment at the dropbox behind Town Hall.

The grace period, normally August 1, has been extended to October 1 for all tax bills due on July 1, 2020, due to the Governor’s executive order due to COVID-19, with the exception of escrowed tax bills paid by mortgage companies.
