A great activity for the whole family is grabbing good old fashioned chalk to decorate the driveway. There are so many possibilities with a box of chalk. You can draw simple drawings or write meaningful messages to essential employees on your driveway and sidewalk but there is so much more! Try drawing something interactive for your family to engage with such as hopscotch, a bulls-eye for tossing bean bags, a musical chairs type set-up, or even a basic obstacle course. You can each take over a section of driveway and draw your favorite cartoon character. One person can begin a drawing with a coordinating story and another finish the drawing and the story. You can draw stripes, polka dots, or flowers! The beautiful thing is, after a hose down or the next rain, there is another blank canvas!
