Your Voice Matters Launches

MANCHESTER, CT – Today, the Town of Manchester is proud to announce the launch of Your Voice Matters, a new online community engagement tool. The launch of this initiative is part of a larger town communications strategy focusing on building a solid foundation to better listen, learn, and engage with Manchester residents.

One of the first initiatives launched from this strategy is a brand new community engagement tool called Your Voice Matters. The purpose of this tool is to discover, test, and implement new ways of reaching Manchester residents while providing them with a more direct avenue to voice their perspectives. This tool will help connect citizens with their local municipal leaders and enable two-way community participation, communication, and transparency in a way that has evolved with today’s behaviors of connecting. The free online tool can be accessed on any device at any time, translated in over 50 languages, and is ADA compliant allowing for full online accessibility.

In its initial launch phase, Your Voice Matters will focus on discovering which topics Manchester residents want to engage with. This tool will also act as a transparent resource giving residents an inside look at the progress of town projects and opportunities to share feedback helping to create more accurate and authentic decision making.

To engage with Your Voice Matters, residents will create a personal login which grants full access to explore the community engagement tool. As residents explore updates on the latest projects, project questionnaires, public surveys, and community forums they’ll be given opportunities to share opinions, feedback, and inquiries directly with town officials.
